Holiday Celebrations at NPH Honduras
Leading up to Christmas, all the children help prepare nacimientos, which are nativity scenes. On Christmas Eve, the kids dress up in new clothes and we have a special dinner, go to Mass and play games.
Our tradition on Christmas morning is for our children to visit neighboring villages and give out toys and candy. It is important to remember that even though we do not have a lot of possessions, we always have enough to share with others in need.
