1K for Kids Foundation Fundraiser: Supporting NPH USA’s Mission to Empower Vulnerable Children
On June 7, 2025, the 1K for Kids Foundation, in partnership with Casa de Corazón, will host their fundraising event, continuing a vital tradition to support Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) USA, an organization dedicated to transforming the lives of children and young adults in need across Latin America and the Caribbean.
This family-friendly event, which has raised over $170,000, invites participants of all ages and abilities to come together to run or walk for a worthy cause. All funds raised will directly benefit NPH USA’s mission to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty by providing a nurturing family environment, education, healthcare, and vocational training for vulnerable children in Bolivia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Haiti, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, and Peru.
NPH USA is thrilled to bring together our community for another successful 1K for Kids event. This event not only supports the incredible work NPH is doing around the world but also allows us to build stronger connections within our own local community. Every step taken on June 7th brings us closer to a future where these children can thrive.
Casa de Corazón, the business behind 1K for Kids Foundation, emphasizes socially responsible education, fostering intercultural learning and participation within the community. Casa de Corazón, encourages its students to engage with and contribute to their surrounding communities through events like the 1K for Kids, helping to create a sense of shared responsibility and partnership.
Participants can register online, and all ages are welcome to join in the fun. Whether you choose to walk, run, or cheer on the participants, your involvement in this year’s 1K for Kids will make a tangible difference in the lives of children and families who need it most.
