The Sharing Fund

Your financial support provides for the care of all the children including food, clothing, shelter, health care and education. If you desire to send an extra gift for your Godchild’s birthday, graduation, special holiday, or any reason you choose, this amount will go into the Sharing Fund. Depending on the policy in the home, the funds are generally used for a special gift for all of the children on their birthdays and at Christmas. Additionally, Sharing Fund money is used for parties, field trips, or special celebrations involving groups of the children. The Sharing Fund provides the children with an opportunity to practice sharing with their brothers and sisters, one of the core values of NPH. The Sharing Fund prevents the inequity that arises when one child receives gifts and another receives none.

Just let the NPH USA office know when you are sending additional money for your Godchild and we will direct it to the Sharing Fund in your child’s name. Your Godchild is informed when you contribute a special gift and you will receive an acknowledgement.

The prices listed represent averages at the Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos homes. Each donation represents a contribution to the entire Sharing Fund and will be pooled with others to be used for gifts, excursions or treats at NPH’s discretion. Gifts to NPH USA, Federal Tax ID # 65-1229309, are tax deductible as provided by law.
