In honor of World Health Month, join us for updates and new stories about NPH’s St. Damien Pediatric Hospital’s impact in Haiti and the life-changing services which continue to benefit thousands of children and families.

This special luncheon marks the 15th Anniversary of the 2010 Haiti Earthquake. We will honor the enduring strength of Haiti’s people, the Hightower Family and their legacy of work and support uplifting NPH Haiti.

Keynote Speaker: Jenny Edouard Pierre-Lys, RN, MD, MPH — Clinical Liaison, Research Specialist

As one of the leading healthcare providers at St. Damien Pediatric Hospital/ Nos Petits Frères et Soeurs, Tabarre, Haiti, from 2014 to 2022, Dr. Jenny Edouard Pierre-Lys served as the coordinator of the HIV/AIDS and Community Health Programs there. She also conducted critical Quality Improvement Projects, which led to a higher quality of care for vulnerable populations.

Among her many achievements, Dr. Edouard Pierre-Lys was awarded a medical degree from Notre-Dame University of Haiti, Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, and a master’s in public health from Quisqueya University in Haiti. She is certified in Leadership and Management from the University of Washington in partnership with ITECH. She recently graduated as a Registered Nurse from Evolution Health Academy in Florida, providing quality compassionate care to clients in Assisted Living, Nursing Home, and Rehabilitation Centers.

As a Clinical Liaison-Research Specialist at the Harvard Brain Tissue Resource Center (HBTRC), Dr. Edouard Pierre-Lys analyzes medical health records to extract other clinical information to determine correlation of disease prognostic or predictive factors.

Dr. Edouard Pierre-Lys has dedicated many years to coordinating and managing HIV, AIDS, MDRTB, and Community Health Programs, and has taken part in many research studies related to these fields.
