Board Names New CEO
The NPH USA National Board of Directors has named a new President and Chief Executive Officer.
June 16, 2020
Dear Friends of NPH USA:
Late last year NPH USA President and Chief Executive Officer Frank Donaghue informed the Board of his desire to retire in 2020. In January we formed a search committee and established a thorough process to assess the needs of NPH and identify the skills and characteristics required to lead the organization at this time of change, challenge and opportunity. We were blessed with a very strong pool of candidates and after many rounds of interviews and reference checks, the Board of Directors of NPH USA approved the selection of John Deinhart as our new President and Chief Executive Officer.
John Deinhart is no stranger to NPH. He has been a friend and supporter of our organization since 2007. John has served on our National Board of Directors and is currently serving as Board President for the Father Wasson Legacy Endowment, and also is a member of the Midwest Region Board of Directors. He has generously supported our programs as a child sponsor and University Scholarship Sponsor.
John had a distinguished 24-year career in senior sales positions in corporate America before deciding to make a change in 2012 and work to make a difference in causes he believes in through fundraising. Most recently John has served as Director of Stewardship and Strategic Planning for the Catholic Diocese of Knoxville.
John’s commitment to our mission, deep knowledge of NPH, strong results and experience in leading teams and fundraising make him a perfect choice to lead our organization forward.
We thank Frank for his many years of leadership of NPH and wish him well in retirement. John will officially join us in early August and looks forward to a chance to get to know you.
We are very grateful for your service and support of our kids! We look forward to a successful transition and great things ahead for NPH USA.
Lee Huntsman, Chair NPH USA Board
Kelly Corley, Vice Chair NPH USA Board, Chair Search Committee
