Regional Director’s Message

For all of us in the Upper Midwest Region we are roughly 2,000+ miles away from seeing, feeling, touching and experiencing the children’s laughter, joy, tears, and the struggles our NPH children feel on a daily basis.

It is important for us to take a moment each day, each week, each month to pause and reflect.

For me, I receive joy in seeing the pictures of our pequeños whether I’m on my phone, on Facebook, or in the office.  It is a special moment to reflect on their smiles, joy and laughter.

During the month of March, celebrating International Women’s Day, was a great time for us to reflect on the unique programs in which the NPH homes create for young women to succeed.  NPH believes in equality and supporting our pequeñas to reach their full potential, just as we do for our little boys and young men!

Spring is a great time to show your friends, family, business affiliates and colleagues your dedicated support. You are helping to raise 3,200 children. Don’t forget to share your NPH story with someone new. Encourage your best friend to sponsor a child. Share our NPH event sponsorship opportunities with your boss. Attend the upcoming Home Highlight evening, learning about NPH Honduras on April 18, 2017. Join us for Bar Bingo on April 27, 2017. Register your team for Cinco de Mayo 5K run/walk event on May 7, 2017.  Save the date for Celebrando a los  Niños Gala October 7^th, 2017.
