A Love That Transforms
John Deinhart, President and CEO of NPH USA, shares a Christmas message.

The last thing 6-day-old Maria* expected to see looking down at her was my face. But there I was — staring into her expressive brown eyes, knowing that she was safe, loved and cared for because there are people like you in the world.
One of the greatest joys I experienced recently was the opportunity to visit our NPH children and the families we help in Mexico, Honduras, and Guatemala. I witnessed firsthand how your support enables children to overcome even the most devastating circumstances. Maria was just one example.
When I held her, I couldn’t help but wonder, “What will her future look like?” None of us can answer that question, just as we can’t with our own children. And yet I can say with great certitude that desperate futures become hopeful and bright with NPH. For more than 50 years, day after day, a small, scared girl or boy miraculously finds his or her way to NPH and then, thanks to kind-hearted donors like you, their lives are transformed. They grow to positively impact their communities. There is so much beauty in our Nuestros Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) family.
To be sure, this has been a difficult year for all of us at NPH — as I imagine it has been for you. But when I reflect on everything that has passed, I find myself deeply grateful and confident in our future.
Your support has been unwavering, and it exemplifies a generosity of spirit that has sustained this organization since 1954. By giving, you put even more meaning to this season of sharing and love. You ensure the nearly 8,000 children in our care have security, nutrition, education and healthcare. Your support also provides scholarships, training and workforce development, counseling, and medical services for thousands of others struggling to live in communities where poverty would otherwise stamp out all opportunity. More than that, you ensure that these children and families are loved and welcomed into our extended family. I can assure you that they thank you and pray for you daily.
Your generosity has reaffirmed my belief that unconditional love isn’t just something we talk about at NPH; it has real power to transform lives and unlock the potential of every child and family we serve.
