A Birthday for a Cause (Fabienne Jolivert)

Dear Friends,

I think we can all agree that 2020 has turned out to be one of the most challenging and overwhelming years of our lives.

This unprecedented year has also brought my husband and I the immense joy of welcoming our son Nicolas, after a difficult Hyperemesis Gravidarum pregnancy, and 5 days prior to the announcement that we were experiencing a global pandemic!

I am very aware of how fortunate I am to have been surrounded by the love and care of my husband, our family, friends and our amazing team of doctors, doula, midwife and nurses!

It is with a great sense of gratitude and responsibility that I invite you to join me in celebrating my 38th birthday by helping raise $5,000 by December 19th, 2020 to support the endless and courageous work of the team at St. Damien Pediatric Hospital in Haiti.

St. Damien Pediatric Hospital is Haiti’s premier facility and an invaluable asset to the most impoverished children in the capital area of Port-au-Prince. On average, more than 2,500 babies are delivered each year. The hospital also includes a surgery ward, a cancer ward, an infectious disease ward, an emergency room, a public health center, and an HIV clinic. Click here to learn more about the hospital.
