About Our Speakers
Esme Carballido Sanchez joined the NPH Mexico Family in July 2012. She was previously living with her grandmother as her parents were not in her life. She was in a loving family home but her grandmother had no means to support the bright and ambitious young woman Esme is. She was immediately embraced into the NPH family, by her new sisters, brothers, staff and international volunteers. Please join us to hear Esme tell her NPH story.
Sam Jimenez Coreas was born in extreme poverty and medical issues as a newborn in El Salvador. His parents were unable to care for him, left him in the trash and he was carried to the dump. His life led him down a path of continuous hardship until he entered NPH El Salvador at the age of 10. It was there that he found family, safety, responsibility, education, and most of all unconditional love. With all the resources and tools that NPH offered, Sam was able to break the cycle of poverty and help others.
