No funds are being collected through UMN, and all donations are being directly channeled to the non-profit NPH/St. Damien. UMN Affiliation is purely for a friendly competition amongst community members of UMN. This is also not an official program of UMN as an institution but an initiative of individuals who happen to be UMN students and faculty.
