Hemana Mayor (“Older Sister”), NPH Mexico

Esme joined the NPH Mexico family in July 2012 when she was 5 years old. She was previously living with her grandmother as her parents were not in her life. Although she was in a loving family home, her grandmother had no means to support Esme. At NPH, she found stability, education, and opportunities. A bright and ambitious young woman, Esme now works as an accountant, and is a productive and caring member of her community.
