Family Immersion Trip to NPH Honduras

Are you looking for a very different and meaningful spring break experience? Bring your child or grandchild on a family immersion trip to our NPH home in Honduras, and discover firsthand how NPH transforms the lives of vulnerable children! You will meet the amazing children, staff, and volunteers of NPH and learn about their daily lives. Visiting an NPH home with a child or grandchild is a tremendously enriching and memorable experience. This family trip is exclusively available to parents/grandparents and their children/grandchildren.
Your family will have the unique opportunity to stay at NPH Honduras in a comfortable visitors’ center, allowing you to immerse yourselves in NPH life and culture. While the NPH children are in school, you will help with the daily chores around the property, such as; working in the gardens and farm, assisting professional special needs caregivers, working in the kitchen and carpentry shop, and other jobs assigned by the home. After a morning of work, relax and spend time with the pequeños in the afternoons. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to meet with the leadership of the NPH home, tour the home’s facilities, and hear from the children about their experience living at NPH.
About NPH Honduras
A thriving, bustling community less than an hour from the nation’s busy capital is Rancho Santa Fe. Open since 1985 Rancho Santa Fe is the second oldest of the NPH homes. Over 400 pequeños make their home in this vast wooded oasis in the hills—a metropolis in comparison to the surrounding quiet pueblos—while an additional 100 pequeños study and live in the capital, Tegucigalpa.
