This year marks 70 years of NPH helping children and families in Latin America and Haiti break the cycle of poverty by providing security, education, health care, and vocational training. NPH puts the safety and rights of children first. We aim to ensure that for decades to come, vulnerable children, including those with disabilities, have the opportunity to build brighter futures for themselves and their communities.

Countless children are caught in a relentless cycle of poverty that threatens to shackle them through their adolescence and adulthood, and be passed onto the next generation. What’s more, many of the solutions offered are short-term and incapable of reversing this pattern.
Through NPH USA, you are able to transform the lives of children living in despair and provide long-term, lasting solutions. NPH strengthens families and helps kids grow into independent, caring adults, having a positive ripple effect on their communities. Through early education and daycare programs, therapy for those with disabilities, medical clinics, parental education and support, vocational workshops, and life skills training, NPH empowers children and families, shaping brighter futures for themselves and their communities. OneFamily Program:
Reunites children with their biological families, providing comprehensive material, social, and emotional resources to build strong family foundations and prevent child abandonment due to poverty.
Community Programs:
Fill vital gaps in support services, such as education, daycare, counseling, and health care.
Residential Care
Provides secure, loving homes for children who may have severe disabilities or nowhere else to go. When these children grow up and leave NPH, they are affectionately called “hermanos mayores,” (older brothers and sisters) who are able to shape futures for themselves and give back to their communities.
