NPH Bolivia Celebrates 20 Years of Inspiring Stories and Transforming Lives
Celebrating 20 years of transformation, NPH Bolivia has touched countless lives, providing love, dignity, and support to vulnerable children. From heartfelt celebrations to impactful programs, we’re proud of our journey and excited for the future as we continue empowering the next generation.
Twenty years ago, NPH Bolivia opened its doors with one mission: to provide vulnerable children with the love, dignity, and support they deserve. Today, we celebrate two decades of transformation, filled with gratitude, pride, and hope for the future.
To mark this incredible milestone, our community at NPH Bolivia came together for a series of events that honored the journey we’ve shared—and the bright road ahead.
A Celebration Rooted in Joy, Gratitude, and Community
We kicked off the festivities on April 5 with a joyful day of games and reflection alongside the children, adolescents, and dedicated staff of NPH Bolivia. As our Director of Fundraising, Iván Parra, reminded everyone, “You are the stories that inspire.” It was a powerful message to our youth: your dreams matter, and you are already enough.
The next day, we gathered for a Thanksgiving Mass, bringing together children, staff, community members, and alumni to give thanks and celebrate the legacy we’ve built together.
On April 8, we hosted our Dinner for Allies—an emotional and heartfelt evening where we shared our successes, challenges, and vision for the future. Among the most moving moments was a gallery of hand-drawn artwork from our teens, each piece personalized with a donor’s name and a message of hope.
During the dinner, our National Director, Patricia, delivered an inspiring message:
“We’re not just celebrating an anniversary. We’re celebrating transformed lives, fulfilled dreams, and the strength of a community that never gave up.”
She reflected on NPH Bolivia’s evolution—from providing shelter and food to fostering identity, dignity, and opportunity. In recent years, we’ve reimagined our model. Today, we go beyond residential care, focusing on family reintegration, youth empowerment, and the upcoming launch of our first Community Family Center in 2025—a space designed to support vulnerable families and prevent separation before it happens.
Sports, Stories, and the Power of Connection
To honor Children’s Day in Bolivia, we hosted the “NPH Cup – 20 Years of Inspiring Stories” on April 12. Boys and girls from NPH Bolivia competed in U17 matches against teams from Santa Cruz and nearby communities. It was more than just a tournament—it was a celebration of pride, unity, and motivation for the next generation.
The Impact by the Numbers
Thanks to your support, today:
- 29 children are thriving in our residential care program
- 23 children have been successfully reintegrated with their families
- 13 families have received support to stay united
- 8 families have launched sustainable income projects with seed capital
- 14 young people are enrolled in youth empowerment programs
- And 11 university graduates have emerged from our NPH Bolivia family
Together, We Build the Future
NPH Bolivia’s 20th anniversary is a celebration of love, listening, and shared commitment. We’re proud of how far we’ve come—and even more excited for what’s ahead. No child should ever feel unprepared to face the world. At NPH, we’re making sure they don’t have to.
Thank you for believing in this mission, for walking with us, and for helping us build a future where every child has a story worth telling—and the support to keep writing it. To help us continue our mission
