EMCEE
Jeffrey Aguy, a national speaker and innovation expert, will join us as our evening’s emcee!
At his core, Jeff believes success and innovation should be accessible to everyone. He has spent the past decade plus as an entrepreneur, researcher, and executive in innovation developing a step-by-step process to scale growth in individuals, startups, organizations, and local economies. “Where I’m from, innovation isn’t a buzzword used by business people. It’s the difference between life and death. While a long way from the small village in Haiti, the spirit of innovation still powers everything I do. Innovation has been my research interest, my academic study, and continues to be my professional practice. My life is built around making innovation easy to implement for communities, startups, large employers, and local economies.”
KEYNOTE
We are excited to announce that our 2023 guest speakers will be Dr. Edwin Vallecillo and his sister, Miriam Yaquelin Garcia.
Upon the loss of their parents, eight Vallecillo siblings, including Edwin and Miriam, found their way to NPH Honduras in 1994. At “El Rancho Santa Fe” they were able to grow up together, supported by an even larger family, and NPH provided them with love, care, and education. After finishing medical school, Dr. Edwin worked as the chief physician at NPH Honduras and then oversaw medical services for all nine NPH homes/programs. Recently, Dr. Edwin assumed the executive role of COO of NPH International. Miriam is the oldest of the eight siblings. As a Registered Nurse, she currently serves as Quality Education Manager at One World Surgery in Honduras, helping to ensure the highest quality care for those most in need.
HONOREE
This year, the Fr. Wasson Humanitarian Award will be presented to Gina and Cary Musech.
Gina and Cary Musech are influential community role models whose passion, ethical leadership and outstanding fundraising efforts have served both NPH and their communities for many years of exemplary service. Their compassion, dedication, and generosity have touched the lives of countless children, providing them with opportunities to maximize their God-given gifts. We are extremely grateful and proud to honor them with the Fr. Wasson Humanitarian Award.
