We would be delighted to have you join us for a special complimentary event to learn about the more than 9,000 children and families we serve across Latin America and the Caribbean. This gathering will offer an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by giving a gift or sponsoring a child. Your support can help children reach their full potential, become compassionate leaders in their communities, and break the cycle of intergenerational poverty—creating brighter futures for themselves, their families, and their communities.
Guest Speaker: Ricardo Echavarría, Hermano Mayor (“Older Brother”), NPH Dominican Republic
My name is Ricardo Echavarría, and I’m 31 years old. I’m studying Bioanalysis, I have four siblings, and family has always been a central part of my life. I’m proud to be an older brother from NPH in the Dominican Republic, that has greatly shaped who I am today.
In 2018, I came to live in the Pacific Northwest for the NPH’s Seattle Institute leadership program. This experience lasted nearly a year and had a profound impact on my personal and professional development. It allowed me to grow as a leader, improve my English, and build meaningful relationships with people from diverse backgrounds.
Currently, I work for MSC Cruises, a global cruise line company. I’ve enjoyed the opportunity to travel, meet new people, and work in a dynamic environment. At the moment, I’m waiting for my next contract with MSC Cruises, and I’m looking forward to continuing my journey with them while also staying focused on my academic goals.
