About
Please join us for a complimentary luncheon to learn about NPH’s St. Damien Pediatric Hospital in Haiti and the impact it is making on thousands of children and families.
Keynote Speaker: Jacqueline Gautier, MD
Dr. Jacqueline Gautier is a veteran global health consultant focusing on maternal and child health, hospital administration, infectious diseases, and vaccination. From 1993 to 2023, Dr. Gautier played a crucial role at NPH St. Damien Hospital in Haiti, in helping the organization shift from being a hospice to a 200-bed hospital specializing in maternal and child care, including pediatric subspecialties. Currently, Dr. Gautier serves as the President of the Haitian National Technical Group in Immunization, providing recommendations to the Haitian Ministry of Health, and additionally serves as Manager for Pediatric Training at MSF Belgium Academy.
Honoree: Renee DeVinck
Renee (Morrene) DeVinck is a mother of five and a grandmother of nine. She was first introduced to NPH in 2007. As a professional labor and delivery nurse for over 20 years, Renee was particularly moved by the work of St. Damien Hospital. She made her first trip to Haiti in 2017, followed by several more trips to volunteer in the high-risk maternity ward and to care for children post operatively who received life-saving heart surgery through Rotary International’s Gift of Life Program. Renee, through the DeVinck Family Foundation, has been a lead supporter of the hospital since. The qualified and compassionate care given to thousands of children and mothers with high-risk pregnancies has been made possible by the DeVinck Family Foundation’s generosity.
